about

A musical tribute to the Takahe, a New Zealand Native bird that was long thought to be extinct. They were rediscovered and have been carefully bred and protected so that there is now hope for their continued existence. The Toccata features trumpet, piano, five string bass, fretless bass, drums and bongos. It will most likely be the title track to my forthcoming album, dedicated to endangered birds.
